The website said the item was in stock, but when I went to get it, it was already gone. Frustrating, honestly. In my opinion, the inventory needs to be updated more accurately.

I really wanted to feel good about supporting High Country Outfitters as a local shop, but i’ve come away a little disappointed. Maybe they’re doing community stuff that I just haven’t seen, but from my experience it feels more like they’re focused on selling gear than actually being part of the local outdoor community. I hate feeling like I’m almost begging a local business to care about the people around them, and there’s definitely some resentment there because I wanted to support them. I just expected more from a neighborhood outdoors store.

I ordered a jacket and I was kind of worried it might run small, because that happens a lot with jackets for me, but the size chart was actually really accurate. It showed up, I tried it on right away, and yeah, it fit pretty much exactly how I expected. No awkward tight sleeves or weird sizing surprises, which was a relief. Just a solid, easy order overall.

I had a feeling the brand selection might be a little limited, that’s exactly how it felt once I started browsing. I kept looking for the brands I usually like, but there just weren’t many of them, which made the whole thing less useful for me...

I found the jacket I wanted, and to be fair, they had more sizes available than most outdoor shops I’ve checked. The size chart was easy enough to follow too, which was a relief because I really didn’t feel like dealing with a return.
I’m giving it 4 stars because the color I actually wanted was sold out in my size, which was frustrating after finally narrowing it down. I ended up choosing another color and it worked out fine, but still, I wish they’d keep popular sizes in stock more consistently...

I do like some of the gear on the site, so I keep checking back, but the loyalty program has been disappointing. The points build up really slowly, and it’s not very obvious when or how you’re actually allowed to use them. I had to click around way too much just to figure out the rules. It also feels like there are all these little policy loopholes that make the rewards sound better than they actually are, like you earn points but then run into restrictions when you try to redeem them. it’s just more hassle than it should be.

The box showed up looking a bit bent and banged up, which reminded me of a few packages I’ve gotten before after a rough delivery. Luckily, everything inside was totally fine, so no real issue there, just wish the packaging had held up a little better.

I ordered a jacket and a few little camping bits from them, I think sometime around late March or maybe early April. The prices seemed fair compared with a couple of other outdoor shops I’d looked at, and the sale section actually had useful stuff in it, not just random leftovers no one wants. Shipping wasn’t too expensive either, so the whole order felt worth it. Everything showed up as expected and I’d happily buy from them again.

I stopped by after work since the location is really convenient for me, and getting there was easy. Parking wasn’t much of a hassle either, which I appreciated. The store had a decent selection, but I personally felt the prices were a little higher than I expected, and the service was just alright. It’s not a bad place if you’re already nearby, but I probably wouldn’t make a special trip to go there

I bought a gift card from High Country Outfitters for my brother, and the actual ordering part was really simple. The email came through quickly and he didn’t have any trouble using it, so that was nice. I did feel a little dismissed when I had a small question, like it wasn’t really worth anyone’s time, but overall the gift card itself worked fine. It’s still a good option when you don’t know what gear someone wants.

Parking was easy when I went, so picking up my order wasn’t a hassle. The lot is right by the store, which is nice, but a few of the spots felt kinda tight once it got busier. Overall it was a good experiance, just not totally perfect...

I felt let down by the whole experience. I reached out for help and never got any real support, which just isn’t right when customers are trusting a company to stand behind what they offer. Good customer service should be a basic responsibility, and this fell way short.

I really wanted to like this jacket because it looked great in the photos, but the first impression was bad. As soon as I took it out of the package, the fabric felt thinner than I expected, and I noticed loose stitching in a few spots. For the price, I thought it would feel a lot better made. Disappointed overall and I wouldn’t buy it again.

I placed the order and it was ready way faster than I expected. Pickup was just... simple. No waiting around, no confusion, no hassle. Basically exactly how you hope it’ll go.

I ordered a medium jacket, but somehow ended up getting a pair of small pants instead. I tried reaching out, and it took them days to get back to me, which kind of tells you what you need to know. Reading between the lines, it just didn’t feel like they were very on top of things. Frustrating experience, and I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

I checked out their event listings and felt a bit disappointed. Come on now, if you’re going to promote events, the details should be clearer and the dates shouldn’t be so hard to figure out. It also didn’t feel like everything was updated consistently. It could definitely be helpful, but it needs some work.

Checkout was simple too, and the pages loaded fine the whole time. it was one of those quick, no-fuss shopping experiences where you’re done before you start getting distracted by other things

I stopped by High Country Outfitters the store was okay, but I got annoyed quickly with how uneven the cleanliness was. Some spots looked organized enough, but then I’d notice dust on shelves, and the fitting room just didn’t feel all that fresh.
The staff seemed nice and the products were easy to browse, so it wasn’t a terrible visit or anything. I just don’t have a lot of patience for a store charging those prices but not keeping the place looking better. Average overall.
